Oppo Find X Failed the durability test

Oppo is doing some weird things with its latest generation of phones. Maximizing the screen-to-body ratio and experimenting with new ways to hide the front camera, like using a motorized top panel. So, how's Oppos's new design when it comes to durability? JerryRigEverything on YouTube has put the Oppo Find X through its paces, and it didn't go well. This phone did not survive the tests, so it goes on the shelf of shame. I'm not sure if that's a real shelf, but the point is the phone is broken.

The Oppo Find X performs as expected in the scratching and burn test. As it often is for lesser phones, the Find X's downfall is the bend test. 90% of flagship phones passed this test, but it didn't look pretty afterward. The Find X's back glass panel cracked, but the phone's front glass cracked and also destroyed the display. With the phone inoperable, it gets a fail.

Given the hefty price tag of the Oppo Find X at Php 49,990. you should consider getting an extended warranty with accidental damage when getting this phone.

So if you're planning to get this phone be sure to take extra care of it and avoid putting it on your tight pockets. You can watch the full durability test at JerryRigEverything.
