Razer to reveal its first smartphone on November 1

Razer a well known brand for gaming peripherals has been making major hints about entering the smartphone market for quite some time, Now it will officially reveal its first mobile product on November 1, according to its website.

The page clearly shows a person holding some sort of smartphone, and Razer says this product will be its “biggest unveiling” yet. The company acquired Nextbit, the creator of the Android-powered Robin smartphone, in January 2017. This was the first hint that the company will enter the smartphone market, because why would they acquire Nextbit if it will just make accessories for PCs and consoles.

Also a few weeks ago, Razer CEO Min-Liang Tan confirmed that the company was going to launch a mobile device before the end of 2017, and that it would be focused on “gaming and entertainment”.

The big reveal is just a few weeks from now, will Razer reshape the smartphone industry with its dedicated smartphone for gamer. Or it will have the same outcome as the essential phone who didn't execute well given the hype given to it. Let us know on the comments below.
